About Canette Books

Canette Books is committed to producing loveable books. We are a small, independent press based in Los Angeles. Our mission is to produce books that people love, with a focus on social emotional learning (SEL) and science related content.

Canette Books is a division of Canette, LLC.

Our first title is You’re Only Two Once, a picture book by Marta Costello, illustrated by Widya Arumba R.L.

Marta Costello

Marta is a children’s book author with a background in media — journalism and psychology, television and newspaper reporting, producing, and hosting. She created The Gnooze, a daily satirical news show on YouTube. After starting her family she fell into picture books; You’re Only Two Once grew out of the antics of her two-year-old son. She lives with her husband, three children, and little dog, usually someplace sunny.
